Hey there, I have a friend (male) who has already gotten an ankle tattoo of Chinese Characters for wind and water (it completely circles his ankle); he is planning on following up with the yin for his yang on getting one for his opposite wrist of Chinese Characters for Fire and Earth (aka the four elements.) He is also planning on getting this one to circle his wrist entirely. An aquaintance of his (a lesbian) indicated that wrist and/or ankle tattoos that surround the limb are a gay sign. Now he is concerned about giving the wrong impression. (He is not gay.) Any feedback? Thanks a lot. Peace.
