Sarah, That's great you can share your faith and inspirations through body art. Tattoos should always have a personal meaning!
-- Contributed by: Jodie MichalakI have a lot of religious tattoos. The give me the chance to talk about Jesus when people ask what they mean.
-- Contributed by: sarahPaul said in Galatians 6:17 "let no one trouble me for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ in my body". I understand that does not mean he had a tattoo in his body, but the persecution and trials he had gone have scared his body in the name of our Lord.
A tattoo for me is a symbol of our faith and can cause others to ask about "Gospel" and may be used for Gods glory!
if you're christain is it against your religion to get a rosary tatted on you?
-- Contributed by: nickiConsider this. I don't think I have a problem with ONE tatoo full of Faith, yet needing to cover large areas of the body for a mission statement is quite the extreme. Jesus said proclaim the good news! Isn't that what our tongues are for? And consider the Artist Who's skin you are wearing? Are you not infringing on His Masterpiece?! Therese
-- Contributed by: ThereseI'm stilling considering...
-- Contributed by: Hillman YinI believe in Jesus. And I got a tattoo in my tummy before I knew him. Now I want to make a tattoo on my right arm.. But I really dont know if it's wrong to get a tattoo when I believe in Jesus.
-- Contributed by: Hillman YinHey this was a huge question on my mind. I was unclear about doing this and thought to myself that this is not changing who I am. I got a fish put on my wrist with the "WWJD" initialed into it. My friend had the same one so I thought if I am goning to get tattooed then It might as well have a purpose. I went ahead and did it and to tell you the truth I still go to church and worship my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST.
However I believe that it is an individual decision that should be made.
