Me and my high school sweat heart both got the word "lifeline" tattooed on our wrists when we were 18 because we always used to say we were eachothers lifelines. That relationship failed a year later. I am now a few years older, deeply in love with another man and have been for a year and a half and am considering getting a couples tattoo with him. This would be my 5th tattoo, and his first so it's a bigger deal for him than me. I guess sometimes you just never learn.

I wish I would have read this when i was 18! It's gonna cost me more than 500 bucks to remove a $60 tattoo...live and learn right.

I think a couples tat is an awsome idea but never do names only if u've been 2gether more than 6 months say 20 yrs than I can see the getten a name but the best thing would b like a butterfly or a monky or a dragon sumthen awsome like that or even a fairy thats what I'm doing 4 my wife getten her fave fairy designer tat'd on my leg n I'm getten a mario 1 up mushroom on my ankle 4 my husband so coupls tats go 4 it

names are usually not a good idea, my and my boyfriend got charachters names from a book series that we both love. the two charachters are soul mates and we think its a good way to represent us on two levels.
