all you gotta do is keep it clean... vaseline for the 1st two days then lubriderm with vitamin E after that... Just dont use anything with aloe cause it will pull the ink out. :)

i got my first tattoo yesterday and he didn't really tell me how to look after it. he told me i couldn't get it wet for about 1 week and not to lay in the sun for about a week.. it is very confusing because i wanted to keep it clean n make sure it doesn't get infected n heals wel. this site was very very helpful! thank you.

im useing A+D ouinment and i was putting some on little parts of the tattoo and what looked like scabs with ink in it were being pulled away from the skin and the tattoo is lighter in some parts is that normal???
