i got a tat on my ankle 2 weeks ago. it swelled extremely bad. along with my foot. the swelling has gone away for the most part. i know this is a very sensitive area. today i went to put ointment on it and part literally slid off and it looked like puss. it was yellowish green. it is not leaking or oozing. it just comes off when i touch it. it has done this twice. is it infected?

Makajak3, please refer this person to a doctor immediatly. Infections are crucial matters that need medical attention, as symptoms may vary and may include swelling, redness, pain/tenderness, pus, oozing, fever, chills, etc.. I would seek care right away.

Could you get a serious infection from a tattoo one year after getting it and what are the symptoms. It was done at home. Please help! I know someone that is very sick.

Someone told me that if you'r tattoo stinks or has an weird odor it could be the ink they used for the tattoo is this true??? please contact me and let me know
