bandcampin, I am so sory to hear of the loss of your brother. For accurate transaltion, I would seek a translation symbol site for Japanese or Chinese lettering. Be sure to visit multiple sites. Perhaps if you have an asian community or district in your area, you can see if there is a tattoo shop with a fluent artist. Good luck and many blessings!

Kanji, make sure when you get a chinese tat that you check multiple, reputable sources. I would check a dictionary or encyclopedia for verification. Good luck!
