i saw this episode last july of 2007 wheni was in the hospital with my son who also had hypoplast left heart syndrome..all i saw was the ending when they showed the tattoo i loved it..i just now read all of this and never knew that they had the exact same heart condition..im actually crying reading this it is so ironic and very weird ..im am very glad your son is doing great its truly amazing my son did howver pass away 6 weeks after his first surgery the day he was supposed to go home but that is how god intended it to be..i did find out when i was 5 mos pregnant and had all the exact feeling as yall..being only 18 at the time..i hope your son coninues to do great..ill pray for him everyday

what a great story. i too have a son who was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome. i would like to get a tattoo that signifies my son's strength as well.
