Non piercing nipple jewelry gives the illusion of piercing without the side effects. Using nipple clips will also eliminate the pain of piercing jewelry. You can also wear nipple chains, nipple shields, belly clips, handcuff jewelry, bells and other sexy items from the nipple. Material can be as expensive as gold or platinum to as economical as surgical steel, plastic, glass or other man-made fibers. All look sexy and wear well.

Another very well rounded guide but as a body piercer i dispute some of your aftercare advice....

You should avoid any kind of antibacterial soap as it strips the piercing of the good bacteria which your body needs to heal, prolonging healing time and irritating the piercing. Many of the chemicals in these types of soaps will also harm the fistula (piercing hole) and dry out the piercing.

Ointment is a bad idea also as petroleum based creams cannot be absorbed by the body and will linger inside the piercing trapping dirt and bacteria and giving it a nice warm moist place to breed.

While sprays like H20cean are great as additional aftercare i personally don't think they should be solely depended on for cleaning as they do not clean as thoroughly as a salt water soak (1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to 1 mug boiling water left to cool till bearable then used to completely immerse the piercing in for 5-10mins). They are really great for adding vitamins and minerals back into the skin so great to use after a sea salt soak when the pores are more open.

Healing time for a nipple piercing is actually around 3 months too :P
