I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." m am not against nor for gays. But ts your life live it. And if i choose to get a rainbow tat that what it means to me GODS promise.....

I'm sixteen and can't wait for my tattoos, of all kinds, but especially my pride. I don't like calling myself bi or gay, but I'm definately not straight, but regardless, I completely support. Me and my best friend are getting rainbow barbed wire around our ankles (hardcore pride!)

I'm a lesbian and I chose to get a pride tattoo with my girlfriend. We have a tribal sun with each ray being a different color of the rainbow. We have gotten a lot of positive feedback

I actually just got my first tattoo three days ago, I'm seventeen and a proud lesbian. The tattoo is of my friend's lips. She put on lipstick and kissed a piece of paper, and my friend tattooed the lips on my pelvic area using rainbow colors.. a statement, I'm sure you can understand.

I'm a lesbian and I did chose to get a lesbian pride tattoo, but not the rainbow. I chose to get the black triangle that was given to "antisocial women" during the Holocaust - lesbian's included. Many people use the rainbow triangle or the pink triangle (the pink was given to gay men only), not knowing that the black was used for lesbians, so, I got the word "Dyke" tattooed above it. It's pretty awesome and is one of my favorite tattoos.

You cant even compare your love with someone elses love. Looks like religion brainwashed another person. what a joke.

Samantha, who are you to judge the live we choose to live as a lesbian? I am pretty sure god would never say that someone's lifestyle is wrong simply because they choose their soulmate on their character and not by their sex. I feel sorry for you that you feel like you have to hide who you really are. There is no reason for you to apologize for your comment; I understand that there are naive people on earth. I love god, am close with my family, and I have a beautiful girlfriend who is also religious. It was in the bible that "though shall love thy brother," was it not? God did not make it hard for you to come out, you made it hard for yourself because you were for some reason ashamed of being gay. if you had turned to god and asked him to be strong in your coming out, he would have been there for you as well. i know from experience. and like sierra said, i am the happiest now that i have announced my being a lesbian. god wants us to lead happy lives. that is all.

Look Sierra, I didn't mean to offend you. You may live your life how you want to that will be your choice, I would say that I am so very sorry but the thing is that I'm not one bit sorry for anything that I said! I'm glad you love GOD, but do you know him? If you did, you would know the truth. Cause i admit that for a very long time i didn't want to face the truth, but I knew that it was there. Like I said GOD will never hate you, and I'm not saying that your ganna go to Hell! But no matter what you say IT WILL ALWAYS BE WRONG!!!

I can't believe you even took the time to post what you posted Samantha. With all do respect it is great that you have struggled with coming to terms with your sexuality, but in no way is it right for you leave a comment insinuating the love two people of the same sex share is ungodly. Just as you say God brought a wonderful man in your life, he also brought a wonderful woman in my life and we have spent 4 wonderful years together thus far. I find it absolutely hilarious that someone can say "you know it is wrong." Have you personally paid a visit to Christ himself and confirmed that your notions are correct. Doubt it. Congratulations for making your way back in the closet. For me I feel liberated being the lesbian that I am. I love God, I love my family, I love earth itself, I love my partner, and without a doubt I love my life. And who ever said you can't have your cake and eat it too. Have a blessed day.

I use to think i was Gay. I hadn't been with a boy for over 4 years and I've had many girlfriends and I loved it. But after going to church and finally opening up my Bible for the first time I realized that I needed to change my life style. I didn't want to be in the wrong with God anymore. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying God hates you cause everyone knows he doesn't hate! But God and yourself knows that it is wrong no matter what you think or say. I asked him for help and he gave me that help that I needed. Why would he put a guy in my life if he didn't think I needed help. I never wanted to change because I loved my Life with girls. But I guess Got made it hard on purpose to show me something. Because after a while I was having a hard time with everything and everyone. I found myself always fighting with my family and friends. I felt like I wanted to hate them and because they were just trying to care for me and help me. The girlfriends that I had would always give me a whole bunch of bull... nonstop about everything. I didn't want to do that anymore, I wanted my life to change. And it did, and right now I couldn't be happier. Ask God for help and he will give.

There are no original ideas, everything is taken in some way from nature or other things around us.

As it says above, the flag represents peace and equality as a rainbow is seen as a sign of peace, just like in the Bible when the rain stopped and Noah saw a rainbow showing that God had forgiven them and wanted peace to reign on.

Gay people just want to be seen as equals and will fight for their right to be seen as such. They don't ask to be born gay, just like a coloured person doesn't ask to be born coloured so why discriminate against sexuality when we don't discriminate against race. Called racism I believe! We are all the same underneath, we all bleed, cry, laugh... so stop trying to rip it all apart!

a lot of the pride tattoo designs are very unique and in fact i know of a few people who have changed the design slightly because they cant find anything quite as unique!

So stick that in your pipe and smoke it Jackal!

Long live Gay Pride!

Rainbow was never GAY to began with until 1978!!

GAY people are the most uncreative thieves of original idea from other cultures! Yet, they like to promote themselves as some kind of creative genius! How can they be if they can't even create an original flag without stealing it from others? The most pathetic fraud we have in our culture!!
