It's not a gun. It's a machine. It does not fire bullets. Only scratchers and prisoners call them guns. If you are trying to inform people about tattoos, stop misleading them.

You're right, they are correctly called tattoo machines. However, many people still refer to them as tattoo guns. Hopefully people will begin to use the correct term as they learn more. :)

they're machines, not guns. if u feel the need to use a slang term, try irons.

Sam, there are many reputable sites on the internet. If you're looking for quality try unimax tattoo supply. if price is the main issue go with superior. not the best equipment, but they've decent items.

after reading the previosly posted comments i got one thing to say, i think it shld be called watever whoever is calling it wants to call it. i mean a gun? seriously? that makes yall mad.... guns are cool. and they do make art, maybe not directly but theyve defnatly been inspiration. being the tattoo luving ppl i kno u are, im sure ur minds are open enough to see that. point of this post is i got me some tattoo GUNZ at home and my step dad is down to blast ne one in the way w some fresh ink. haha, PEACE!

Okay...I will not be an ass like my brother Tattoo artist. I will start by simply explaining something to you. Our tools have proper names and a Gun is not one of them(unless your a prison whore) They are called a Tattoo Machine. Calling them a gun offends all or most of us Tattoo artist. And listen about the kit thing...man I have to tell you, That is NOT the way to go. Try and find an Tattoo Artist that will show you the Right Way. Yes it will cost you money, respect (because we will haze the F*ck out of you) and a long ass time before you make money or even do your first tattoo. I will give all of you a FREE Pointer and that is study all types of art and trace trace trace. I wish you all the very best but please dont go out and scare anyone up with a kit because ALL KITS ARE JUNK no matter how much you pay for them.
