had my tat done about a week ago at first it went red a round a sore and now it has scabed and now it has yellow puss in it

Had some work done on my left arm and noticed something was not right the following day,my arm swelled and i had discharge, went to the doctors who gave me ciprofloxacin tablets which are for skin infections. The redness seems to have cleared so hopefully all is well.

i got a tattoo yesterday on my foot... it hurt at the time but now 24 hours after the fact my leg is aching up to my knee an it kinda feels numb. my husband says its from how i was sitting to get it done an from not really walking on it today. he thinks its just sore an stiff from everything. it bothers me more when i lay down. im worried something serious could be wrong. its a little red around the area but nothing major and its not swelled or puffy. does anybody have any idea what might be causing this? thank you

My boyfriend got a tatoo about 6 weeks ago, it looked like it was fine after about 4 weeks then all of the sudden it turned a really red color and has little pimplely bumps all over it and he says its painful. It's been like this for about 2 weeks now and isn't getting any better. I'm worried about him so can you please help? Thank You!

Well u have little white dots around the area of the tatto, what that menas is you propably have a little infection, if it gets worsed or you get fever of any kind, SEE A DOCTOR ASAP, you also might have a viral infection as well, if you ever get a tatto again pay a little extra and get your own niddles, I mean bring your own niddles to the tattoo artist. Infection from a niddle can be fatal and some of them are untreatable

I got a tattoo a week ago and I had an area that looked like puss filled pimples on the flower, then it spread up my arm and down my side. They look like pimples, they don't itch or hurt, but they seem to burst after awhile. Should I be concerned and what could it be?

Hello, I gave myself a tattoo on my left arm and 2 days after I started getting little red bumps on it and they itch I was wondering if it is something i should be worried about, I have two other tattoos and the same thing happened when they were done but I had them done by pro tat artest. i got a tattoo the other day on my hip the artist told me to use bepanthen and i have been. My tattoo is swollen and red round it, is this normal or could it be infected? I cover it up on a night so it doesnt sick to my bed but should i be letting it dry out and stop useing the cream? please help me

hey...well ive given myself 4 tattoos altogether, of course none have stuck but thats because im using pen ink...ive never got ink poisoning before, and dont think i will atleast from this, doc says the chances are pretty low of anything actually happening...

as for brandi, mine usually stay inflammed for about a day and a half so long as theres no discharge and the like, i wouldnt worry...as for the whole parents thing i wouldnt know mie dont care, mine actually gave me the idea :) nice huh... but i 2 of the ones ive did have been directly into the main arterys/veins i think youve got nothing to worry about meaning infection wise i know that if my parents did care they would flip if they knew...

Janey and rey- Janey 1 stop with the caps, 2 go to a doc or tattooist if a doc is to expensive or what have you...Rey id say just go to the tattooist and complain for one, then go get a check up, though neither sound like poisoning it might be that your white blood cells are rushing to the "infection" and fighting it which usually indicates cheap ink being used, but advice both get checked up just to be safe

i have a large snake design on my right forearm thats lookin really bad its not discharging or anything just wher ever the red pigment is the skin is swollen sum with lil bumps im worried n am asking what should be my next step?

okay. im 13 and i gave myself a tatto. and im writing you to ask some questions.

i gave myself a tattoo 2 days ago. and im reading all these things about ink poisoning. and i know i could of gotten that. but i did the tattoo anyway. and i dont want to tell my mom or my dad. i trust telling my sister , but i dont know if she will get mad at me and make me tell my mom. ya kno?

so its a lil heart on my ankle. but people were saying that if its red , inflamed , swollen , and if it hurts than to get it checked out. but it dont do any of those.

soo im asking for your advice as an adult or anyone on what to do .

so please help because im worried. im not regreting it. but im worried.

IM NOT SURE WAT IT IS IM KIND OF WORRIED ABOUT MY TATTOO I GOT IT ON MY BACK IN THE MIDDLE...ITS IN BLCK INK...ITS LIKE LITTLE PIMPLES THAT SHOW UP AROUND THE TATTOO NOT ON IT...THEY'RE LITTLE PIMPLES WITH A WHITE DOT IN THE MIDDLE...THEY AREN'T PAINFUL BUT IM WORRIED ABOUT IT ..HELP!
