Nick, great advice, I couldn't agree more! We encourage readers to take their time deciding on a piece, and equal time finding an artist who is worthy of the work! Thanks for contributing...

i have just gotten back to south africa after spending the best 2 years of my life in bangkok and pataya. i have seen so many tattoo's here and there and i must say that the level of pride that is put into the work there is amazing. but the most important thing is thatthose tattoo's all mean something. there are alot of fools getting tattooed everyday all over the world. only these tattoo's all seem to have so much meaning to them.biggest amount of resect to all of those people and the monks who give the tattoos.my advise if you have the balls go get a traditional tattoo done.

Dimi, I would recommend checking with your local artists for tattoo resources and brainstorming their ideas! Best of luck!

wow those tattoos look very very simmular to Cambodian writing, oh wait it is, and yet Thai people once again claim things that are not theirs. Kinda sad aint it. Sorry, please give credit where credit is due.

It is difficult and expensive to remove tattoos. You'll need to seek the help of a tattoo removal specialist and visit them several times depending on the size of the tattoo. How about turning the design into something you can live with? A tattoo artist could help you decide how to change your tattoo. Good luck!
