I have been through abuse as a child, abuse as a wife, and now I have finally over come it all (with my kids thank you) and now haveing overcome it all I want a pair of wings. It was actually my sons idea, he said "that way if things ever get scary again, you can just think of your wings and flyaway." I want something in black and white, slightly tribal looking but still very obviously bird/angel wings. I thought black would be good so that way I can make something beautiful out of the darkness that was left. (cheesy, huh?)

For years ive wanted to fill the mass space on my back and ive always wanted something with meaning and it wasnt until i lost everything from home and family i realised i wanted a set of wings something like the story of icarus just for me to remeber that everyone can fall when they are feeling so high and happy so if anyone has any ideas for image or shape ill be happy for feed back

Hey guys, I love wings too, I have been getting henna ones done for ten years so I can keep changing the style. I also ahve several real tat's and can't wait until I can afford my dream ones, framed on teh wall in my room. :) There is a great book called "Skin Art", sorry don't know the author, photos and history of tats. Some great wngs in there, good luck on your travels!

 I have wanted wings since I was nine years old. Every time I surf the net I look up wings. I know I want them small, on my upper back, in flight, with some color. I love the way dragon wings look in flight but they aren't very feminine. Fairy wings are very ethierial but too insect-like...
   Any input from you that could help me get my dream tat is greatly apprietiated!!
